I was talking to flunky about the new seven deadly sins ( news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7287071.stm ) that the Vatican issued and we decided that Hollywood's love of the remake has caught on in Rome and they felt the need to join in. Not only is the concept of seven new sins silly to me, but once again, the remake fails to compare to the original. Lust Gluttony Greed Sloth Wrath Envy Pride Or Environmental pollution Genetic manipulation Accumulating excessive wealth Inflicting poverty Drug trafficking and consumption Morally debatable experiments Violation of fundamental rights of human nature

'Accumultaing Excessive Wealth' ummmmmmmmmmmmmm isn't the vatican like commiting that one themselves. They're one of the wealthiest entities on the planet. Them and the mormon church. So they might want to quit while they're ahead; not to mention isn't that 'greed' so they just reworded it??? I'm shocked they didn't just say 'abortion' as #1 Kas

I agree, abortion seems to be one of their top agendas, I wonder why it was excluded. Political correctness perhaps. I am not Catholic, and I believe it is a woman's choice, not the church's, but that is a whole 'nother topic completely.
