Ah, what the genre has been missing until now: a party game. I know already that this game will be one of our family games during Christmas this year, mainly 'cause we're a warped lot and the zombie apocalypse isn't out of place for our festivities. Ever wanted to team up with your pals and fight off a zombie apocalypse? That's just what this game delivers. The basic plot is that you can choose one of the 4 campaigns, each in a different setting, and attempt to escape with your friends. The zombies aren't the slow mindless corpses of most zombie flicks, but rather the rabid fast-paced zombies of the new Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days Later. The downside (as it seems it is with all Xbox 360 games) is that if you want to play with more than 2 players you require more than one system. A review will be up soon on the main site. www.l4d.com/home.php

The upcoming sequel to this one looks really cool, finally they included a chainsaw in the game *evil laughs* (ever since the first Doom I love it when a game has a chainsaw in the arsenal). The only thing I don't like that much is that you can only play it co-op with 2 players on the same xbox it isn't that much of a party material, but you can indeed play with a friend or two if you take turns or something.

Mm, that's what Minion and I (and various others) do. Though of course I'm terrible at it. Let's not speak of my attempts to find the hospital.

yeah, I know what you mean, and it is madness if you try playing it on the hardest difficulty. The controller just won't stop moving around if you change turns everytime you're incapacitated, lol.

Yeah that's.... not what happened. Let's just say cross-hairs and hospital crosses look too much alike.
