The Japanese version of comic books/graphic novels is manga. If anyone reads manga, this would be the place to post about it I have read Alice 19th's first four or five manga, a couple of Inuyasha mangas, and that's about it. Alice 19th could probably fit into the horror theme if anyone is interested. It's about a group of people called "Lotis Masters" who use words to defeat the bad guys. It's been a while since I've read Alice 19th, but you can read nearly any manga for free on onemanga.com/ I definitely praise this website for how easy it is to use and how many different mangas it has available. -Brain Baby

I have kinda been involved in Manga for a while, my son was an avid reader of it when he was little, has grown up and is a voice actor and was the voice of Kazu in Air Gear (English version). He translates Japanese scripts for dubbing in America for AD Vision in Houston. My daughter in law is a Manga artist (One of the few Americans who can claim that title) She is currently illustrating Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives for Tokyopop. She goes by Rem, but her name is Priscilla, we call her Percy lol. She is just as beautiful as her art
If you are interested, be sure and watch for Vampire Kisses:
Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives Volume I, Blood Relatives
This book is the first volume in a series of manga graphic novels that are based on the Vampire Kisses world. It is published by Tokyopop and is illustrated by Rem.
The absolute last thing Goth girl Raven and her vampire boyfriend Alexander need is another hitch in their night-time only romance—but dark trouble hovers on the horizon when Raven and Alexander discover four freshly dug graves filled with empty coffins. When a crew of dodgy vampires takes up residence in Dullsville’s lonely graveyard, Alexander finds this motley bunch is led by his very own blood-sucking cousin, Claude Sterling. Claude and his creepy crew can only spell out more problems for the pair, especially when Raven finds them in daylight attending Dullsville Highschool! What could Claude and his invaders be doing—or searching for—in Dullsville?
Volume II, Blood Relatives
This book is the second volume in a series of manga graphic novels that are based on the Vampire Kisses world. It is published by Tokyopop and is illustrated by Rem.
Who says dating a vampire is easy? Raven’s nocturnal romance with her immortal love Alexander is definitely dicey, but even more so with Alexander’s meddling half-vamp cousin in town. Claude and his sketchy gang are on the hunt for a stash of blood-filled vials that can turn them into pure vampires. With an old family feud casting a shadow on the search, they’ll do anything to get their hands on the vials. Raven and Alexander must swiftly mastermind a plan to outwit them, but will the very lure of the vials create more risk for Raven than she could ever imagine?

Manga manga manga... Oh yes I read manga... I read quiet a lot of manga. Though most of my manga is yaoi based, I own a wide array and have three bookcases full of thousands of dollars worth of manga and anime. <3 More than likely if I haven't read or watched a series I've at least heard about it unless its a newer one I haven't discovered yet.

I'm not a huge anime/manga fan, but the one I do actually get into is Hellsing. Quite fun, quite supernatural, and completely worth it for Alucard.... The anime's even being remade currently to be more along the lines of the manga.

I really wish they'd do the dubbing of the new ones, 'cause I love some of the ways they said thingsin the older ones.
