Not sure if there are many UK contributors here, but Ruggero Deodato is going head-to-head is the British Board of Film Classification to discuss the censorship of some of his most contentious stuff. This is followed by a screening of the most complete version of "Cannibal Holocaust" to be released in the UK (only one cut to the killing of the muskrat). The debate should be worth the effort, and if you haven't seen "Cannibal Holocaust" it's well worth the effort, if you have the stomach for some of its excesses. I think it's an excellent film, and info and tickets can be found here: www.cine-excess.co.uk/censorship-on-the-edge-of-the-park.phpSee you there?

Thanks for posting this, very interesting! I would love to hear from someone who attends the debate. I haven't seen Cannibal Holocaust basically because it it not my favorite type of horror film, but I may watch it anyway, or at least try to get thru it just to make my own opinion about censorship of the film.
