Unfortunately, I don't read a lot of horror, so I may not be the best person to get this ball rolling but *shrug* SOooooooooo what ARE you reading? Right now I'm working on re-reading both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Alice in Wonderland.... those are close enough to horror, right?

The full list?
Brains by Robin Becker (review copy overnighted to me so a tad high on list to do) ManHunter 2: Prey by Thomas Emson (jumps like crazy and not holding my attention) Dragon Kings Palace (pseudo research for a story I am writing. Gets me in the Japanese storytelling mood) Gleefully Macabre Tales by Jeff Strand (just got and popped into it) Why We Suck by Dennis Leary (because he is funny) Cemetery Dance (like 6 issues of because I get distracted somehow and don't gett through it all) Abarat book 1 by Clive Barker
I think that covers all the in progress current books

Waking the Moon by Elizabeth Hand...a neat story that spans two decades dealing with the darker aspect of Goddess worship....

I have a few going:
Valley of the Scarecrow by Gord Rollo Baby's First Book of Seriously Fucked-Up Shit by Robert Devereaux
Non-horror:
The Secret Lives of Hoarders by Matt Paxton
I have a TON of books to read for review, and keep taking on more. I'm having a lot of fun with it, and I can read pretty fast.

A fast reader. . . that is awesome. I am slow as hell. I am still "in" Abarat book 1. Brains and Gleefully Macabre being the only two on that list which I completed.
In Laymons Terms (top o the heap) Visitants (interesting but not yet living to its potential) Awakenings (comic hardback pseudo zombie series)
And about a dozen new on my pile plus the dozen old on the pile (and about 30 to distribute)

John, I have a printed copy of Valley of the Scarecrow. Hardback from Dark Regions Press. Contact them. Pretty sure they still have some. I know they had at least one left at WHC

I just finished World In Red by John Gorumba, just started Off Season by Ketchum and I have read one short story out of Gina Penn's Learning to Fly, (short stories are a good break when a book is a bit too much, gory, intense, boring, etc)
